Q: How do I reply to threads? When you are in the thread you wish to reply in you will see a button with (has a symbol. once you click on that a new screen will load). Type your message inside that and press post. If you wish to see if your message came out right press preview.)()
Q: How do I start a new thread? To start a new thread click on the button 'New Thread'. After this you will need to fill in the Subject line as this will reflect what your thread is about.
Q: How do I delete a thread? You can not delete threads that arent owned by you. You are allowed to delete your own. This can be done by clicking modify and removing through there. For post -
Q: How do I lock a thread? When you start a thread it is possible for you to lock it to stop the conversation. The only people who can lock threads are- Moderator's, Global Moderators, and Administrators.
Q: What are PM's? A: PM's stand for private message. As the name say's it is a way of you sending a private message to someone- Headmaster, Moderator or your friends. You can send PM's by clicking on the "Inbox" image []. Once you click on there you will need to find the 'New Message' button. You will need the username of the person you wish to contact. This allows you to send private messages to the headmaster or other students. The easiest way to send a PM is to click '' below the student's name in one of his/her posts or in the profile. Or Click the that is under their name on the boards when they post.
Q: How do I edit my Post? A: By clicking the Modify button () and following the screen from there.
House Competition
Q: How do we get points for our house? A: We earn points through various competitions and classes.
Q: How does quidditch work and How do I join the quidditch team?? A: The broom game of Quidditch will be played on the forum's boards. Each match will consist of a handful of tasks and a RP thread. The tasks, divided by position, include: trivia questions, playing the practice game on the official site, and finding websites. Players may play more than one position should one of their teammates miss the match, but must have prior approval by the quidditch referree. You can sign up for your house team in the quidditch thread and your positions will be posted or Private messaged to you. You can also earn points for your house through this.
Q: When do classes start? A: Classes start depending on the time of the month and amount of students and teachers we have. It would be best to keep on top of the messages in the Notice Board in the Administrative Centre.
Head Boys, Girls, Prefects, Professors, and Others. Q: How do I become a prefect/head boy or girl? A: Prefects and Head Boys and Girls are chosen by the Headmistress [Head boy and Girl] and Head of Houses [Prefects]. They are usually picked from people who have proved they can handle the responsiblity. No others will be chosen until the current ones surrender their titles or leave the board. And don't ask to be one or an assistant as if you ask you will not be granted the position.
Q: How do I become a Facutly Member? A: Check the application board and send the application to the Employment name.
Profile Q: What's a profile and where can I find my own? A:Your profile is a place for to write more informzation about yourself/background and see others. To modify your profile click the profile button at the top of your screen. to view others click on their name when its lluminated.
Q: How do I change my name? A: Go to your profile and change the name in the box below the password change option. This does NOT change your user name, only the name that shows up on the board. You will still need to login using the name you chose when you registered.
Q: How can I change my password? A: If you enter your profile you will see two empty boxes. enter your password and press save. once you have clicked save you will be logged out and have to re logg in with your new password
Q: How do I add a signature? A: You can add a signature in your profile. If you open your profile it explains what to do

Q: Am I allowed to have special powers? A: Yes, to a certain extent. We have no problem with staff members being animagus. However, we will obly allow one metamorphagus. A seer and other things in Harry Potter are very rare. Wa are not going to have a site with 100 people running around who " are able to read minds". All people who want special powers need to talk with the Administration.
Q: Am I allowed to switch houses if I don't like the house I'm in? A: No, just like at the Hogwarts in the books you're not allowed to switch houses.
Q: I've read this entire FAQ and I still need help, who can I ask? A: Every house has a number of people who have been selected, among other things, to help the other students when in need. The Headboy and Girl/ Prefects/Ghosts/Teachers/Admin, older members, or respected members of the community who've been here a while and know what's goes on around this site are excellant people to ask.
Q: Is there a limit on the number/types of pets a character can have? A: Yes, to types, the usual pets are allowed (Cats, Toads, Rats, Owls) if they are something else they must talked about with the Headmistress or Deputy.
Q: Do I have to be a certain Year? A: No. We are allowing all years into the school at this time.
Q: What can I do if my character is on their last year at Hogwarts when the term ends? A: You can send a PM to the Headmistress requesting that your position now be changed to Witch/Wizard as you have now Graduated Hogwarts and you are able to take a Job in one of the many places this board has offered (Diagon Alley, Knockturn Alley, etc.) if you like or you may even come on as a Faculty Memeber.
Q: Will there be a ceremony for students who are on their last years for when they graduate? A: Yes, if we are informed that they are on their Last year.
